"CIRCUS DAWN"
Circus Dawn exploded onto the Chicago music scene in late 2004 with their debut album - Avant Garde. Touching on more progressive styles, their music is passionate, heavy and creatively unique, with cryptic lyrics, accompanied by melodic harmonies, pounding drums, and rhythmic guitars, capturing the power in their music with ease.
Formed in 2000, Chicago, IL Alternative Metal band CIRCUS DAWN has been flying under the radar screen, while founding members, Colin Roemer and Mark Bouquet have worked rigorously on rehearsing, completing the band's line-up and perfecting their sound.
It's been a busy year for CIRCUS DAWN. After signing with YoungSide Records in February, they went into the studio in April to record their sophomore project, "Between The Lines Of Gray" - released July 2006.
Once the album was complete, CIRCUS DAWN hit the live music scene with a vengeance - starting with a performance at Cornerstone Fesitval 2006 in Bushnell, IL in July, followed by a month long tour of Florida in August, playing shows from Jacksonville to Miami and various places in between. On returning to Chicago, they snagged a spot on stage with SOILWORK at The Pearl Room, Mokena, IL in October.
While the Band takes a brief well earned break, plans are under way for more exciting shows and tours in 2007.
