Kelly Shannon releases her latest CD Rescue Me. It is her personal testimonial of past struggles. She collaborates with some of the heavyweights in the gospel music industry. On Rescue Me, Shannon partnered with Rev. Wayne Tate, minister of Manna Church in Fayetteville , NC . Her band consists of Mark Burchfield, Dave Cleveland, Tony Morra, and Sal Oliveri. Being a product of a troubled youth and the mother of a special needs child, Shannon relates to the everyday man and woman with her music. She has struggled in life and through Rescue Me she shows the listener that she understands his/her pain because she has been there. This naturally gifted singer, who ministers’ through music, is a self-taught musician who never sits down to write a song. She finds musical inspiration through prayer.
