Today young people are faced with more spiritually challenging decisions than ever. At every turn they have to pick a road that leads to light or darkness. If we as a society, and more important as God's people, don’t do our part in the race for those hearts - we are responsible for the potential negative impact our indifference can have.
That is why the youth ministry of
Anchor22 has partnered with
CCM and
Beatmart to take the
Unbreakable Tour to communities around the country. The
Unbreakable Tour is a youth conference and a music festival blended into one high energy, high impact event targeted at young people with the goal of bringing the lost and the believing heart closer to Jesus.
The idea of the
Unbreakable Tour is to be invitied into a community for a two-day period in order to plant seeds that last forever. Street fairs with games, 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, music concerts and one-on-one time with the artists and speakers themselves will fill the initial event schedule. Following this will be a day of hard hitting and enlightening presentations by speakers who know how to communicate on a level young people understand.
So lets talk about the music first.
Beatmart has agreed to support the
Unbreakable Tour with a diverse and dynamic group of acts from their hip-hop roster. Knowing that hip-hop music is a powerful force in the shaping of youth culture,
Beatmart has committed themselves to being a positive music choice alternative in society. With the likes of
Soul P.,
JRemy,
Willie Will, and
Eric Cross, just to name a few, Beatmart has achieved their goal of becoming the trend setter of positive hip-hop music.
No doubt you have probably read about one or more of these artists in
CCM. That would be the case because
CCM takes its roll as a gospel music media leader seriously, looking to stay in the know concerning the trends and interests of youth culture and Christian culture as a whole.
CCM brings their support, experience and knowledge to the
Unbreakable Tour because they are concerned about the shaping of young minds across our country and know they carry a recognizable name to the target we hope to hit.
The message we hope to provide on the
Unbreakable Tour is “what to run from,” “what to run to,” and the attitude to approach both of those journeys with. These concepts will be delivered to young people by the 3 member ministry team of
Anchor22. The
Anchor22 team has over thirty years of combined youth ministry and speaking experience. Successful author and speaker
Clint Thomas, founder of
Chaos Theory, brings a highly effective media presentation that sheds light on what young people need to steer clear of.
Brian Mack, a musician and youth speaker, communicates to young people how to identify their God given gifts and set goals to use them effectively.
Elijah Tindall, a fast rising stand up comedian and national youth conference regular, explains to a young audience that attitude and approach are half the battle as they navigate their way through such important years.
