Testimony: Without "PARAGRAPHS"!!! Haha! I'm such a new Christian, and we come from San Francisco, that I wasn't sure what "testimony" meant on my profile page!!!!!!!! But what I think it means, is how we came to Jesus. *PARAGRAPH*

I was "bathmatized" the day before Easter this year. (My son calls it that because he couldn't pronounce Baptized!!!!!!!! *PARAGRAPH*

My singer friend, Jen, came to me asking me to write an album for Jesus. I really didn't know anything whatsoever about being a Christian. I had never prayed really, except when I was about 1 -3 yrs old. And I celebrated Christmas, but only in a very commercial way. However, I was totally open to the idea. I told Jen "you have to write the lyrics... I don't know anything about this!!! *PARAGRAPH*

Soon after that, I walked into a community church near my house where everyone pretty much knows I am a musician, (I've had some secular success!!) they asked me to play in the worship band right away!!! So, immediately felt right at home. I loved my new church, plus my daughter really wanted to come too which helps! I still attend and play there a lot. Not every week, but as much as I can. Our church is really GROWING! *PARAGRAPH*

Testimony: One day I was in my studio writing some music for the album, still thinking; I probably couldn't write the lyrics. I was practicing praying, and I prayed before I played each part to each song. And suddenly the Holy Spirit just filled my body all at once - I cried - it was the kind of crying which is joy and sorrow all mixed together. *PARAGRAPH*

I was alone in my little studio, and I had just played all the tracks for "Gladly Choose You Now", (which is up on our site) when all the lyrics poured out of me like mountain stream - or a beautiful wind blowing gently through my soul. I was taken over with the humble feeling that God really was in control, and always had been, and that I wasn't alone. That He loved me too, that He was there all along, but I just had been away of Him, until that very moment. I was broken and torn - I was sorry, I had missed out on His love all that time. (that's why I am soaking up the bible! its catch up time for me!!!) *PARAGRAPH*

I pulled up a track in my Protools recording program, and sang the lyrics. Then called Jen (who is the lead singer) on her cell phone, she was driving her car and practically drove off the road!!! She came over and sang the song immediately! "Gladly Choose You Now" is my coming to Jesus moment! That's my testimony!!! (is that a testimony??? haha )

After that I had no trouble at all writing lyrics. They poured from me day and night until all the songs wrote themselves! We're almost finished with re-mixing in a more professional studio! It has been an amazing journey. I thank God every day for giving me the heart to hear Him through songs. I have no idea where this is leading me, but if that was all those songs were meant to do, was to bring me to Jesus, I am so ThankFULL!!!
