Tyler Bettge is a singer/songwriter out of Southern California. His passion for music came when he was a sophomore in college at Azusa Pacific University. After performing in a small vocal ensembles he realized that he wanted to perform.
Speaking about music, Tyler says, “Music is supposed to be a tool to help people think, to bring them a different perspective, not to simply make money.” 3 years, and 12 songs later Tyler Bettge is thrilled to release his debut album entitled “Re-Light.” Coming from a background that mixes both classical and contemporary, Tyler used many different aspects to create the songs on Re-Light. With a diverse set of melodies, and a unique punch to the rhythms, Tyler strove to not only create great music, but to bring each song a distinctive quality. From the crunching electric guitars on “Temptation Song” to the piano driven power ballads on “Where the Heart Is”, there is something for everyone. Another aspect that sets Tyler apart from the rest is his thought-provoking lyrics. Tyler believes that he should use music as a platform to emphasize his beliefs in love, justice, and peace.
