I have two beautiful daughters. The one who recently turned 22 also just married her childhood sweetheart. The other one just turned 18 and has one more year of High School. They are both a great blessing from God. They also are great tools of God for making a person humble, as you realize you need Gods help every step of the way. I am a single parent (divorced). I work in the insurance industry. I like to camp and fish. I enjoy being involved with my church and ministry outreach. I wish I had the time and money to go on more mission trips. I like meeting people and getting to know others. I enjoy praying for others and connecting in that way. I am not rich in money and have to work hard but I have been greatly blessed by my Father, who cares for me and provides for me even when I mess things up.

I grew up in a Christian home, went to church until I was about 9, then we stopped. When I was 10 a girlfriend/classmate invited me to a girls group at a church. I learned there how my sin was like a big black blot that seperated me from God and that I needed to ask God to forgive me for my sins and accept the gift of his Son dying on the cross in place, to admit that I believed in Jesus and ask Jesus to come into my life and be the boss of my life. I have had many years of close walking with God but I have also had many months of pulling away and distancing myself. Of course that always starts off with small things and before you know it you have walked miles apart from Him. But he is always there waiting for me to get by head and heart back to him. I know without a doubt my salvation, and the power of God as I have had those "magical" times where you know that the only way you did something, said something, wrote something, or put something together came straight from God. Even when I have walked out of step with God I still know who I rely on to see me through the bad and the good times. I really don't see how people make it without him in this world. I don't always treat him like he is my everything but really HE IS.
