"Recording Artist Sounds of Imani brings a fresh anointed sound to independent gospel!"

Gerald and Carol Ervin are the founders of Sounds of Imani, a contemporary gospel recording artist with a jazzy flavor. Sounds of Imani has been performing every since 1996 at different venues throughout the United States. The word Imani is an African word meaning "faith". Please view our website at www.soundsofimani.com

Sounds of Imani is very versatile in gospel-jazz, gospel-R&B, urban gospel, praise and worship, prophetic praise, and yes even traditional gospel. We work hard in the community by participating in community outreach programs in prison/correctional facility outreach, outdoor concerts, special programs designed to encourage and uplift those who are in transitional housing, etc.

Our newest release entitled "Revelation" will bless you richly as each song touches different areas in the lives of the believer from every walk of life. Each song has something special to offer and no song is the same. All songs were written & produced in conjunction with Producer Daron Steward of Southfield, MI. Sounds of Imani has developed a unique sound that definitely identifies them as an anointed independent artist for such a time as this!

The Revelation CD may be purchased online at www.cdbaby.com/soundsofimani. Sounds of Imani is available for engagements by calling (313) 308-5935. Stay tuned for new cd release scheduled for 2009..........
