What I'm currently working on: Remix of Firestorm with a live drum track!

I've played electric and acoustic guitar since October of 2005. I've also toyed with the bass over the past months and record both the guitar, bass and a little synthesizer in my songs.

I also started playing drums early June of this year, so hopefully I can ditch the drum machine soon.

My songs are completely original, sometimes too much so. I tend to blend many styles and influences until you can no longer figure out where that idea came from.

If you'd like to know what gear I like and use, please send me a PM, I'd be glad to answer any gear/guitar/music related questions.

But keep in mind I'm no music genius, most, if not all, of my songs are in the key of C and nearly all solos are pentatonic. (If you're a musician you know what I mean.)

My Bio

"Rebel" is just an ordinary kid who hardly knows what she's doing musically. She can't comment on what she thinks of her music because she doesn't know if people just say they like to make her feel better or not. She just does it for fun and really doesn't care what anyone thinks.

Rebel is a born and raised Texan who has been musically obsessed since her first Christian rock CD, Audio Adrenaline's "Hit Parade". Ever since she has expanded her influences by blowing all her money on guitars or CDs. "My biggest influences range from classic rock to my favorite band, Disciple", says Rebel. "I probably spend more time with my ipod than I do with my friends."

When shes not listening to or playing music, Rebel enjoys playing the sport of fencing, skateboarding when it's not raining or unbearably hot, and doing all things Star Wars. Two years after watching every Star Wars movie, she is currently on a mission to read every Star Wars book. And by that she means all of them, no matter how many hundreds there are. "I'm a living, breathing Star Wars encyclopedia. That Star Wars obsession coupled with some of my personality traits, brings about my nickname, Rebel. There's more to the story, but it's not something I wouldn't I really want to get into. Inside joke, you wouldn't understand unless you knew me pretty well."

When asked the age old question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Rebel replies, "Um, well, anything that has something to do with music. Recording artist would be my first choice. As long as it was rock or metal, I'm not so big on too many other types of music. Except maybe Techno, yeah I'm a geek. I'll just have to see where God leads me." Rebel's reply to "If you do anything for a living, what would it be?" is all too predictable to her closest friends. "Jedi Knight, duh, what else is better than that? I'd have a green lightsaber and an XJ class X-Wing. Better yet a YT-1300 Corellian Freighter and a BlasTech DL-44... I've lost you, haven't I? Plan B would be to work for NASA. If I weren't so mathmatically stupid that is. Test pilot is another cool real life job, I'd do it."
