I am an ordained minister (fundamentalist). I also write CCM, including rock. I enjoy listening to Christian music of all variety, from Southern Gospel to hard rock. My favorite performers include: 2nd Chapter of Acts/Annie Herring (I was saved at a 2nd Chapter concert, 11/3/79), Servant, Dixie Melody Boys, Steve Taylor, Rich Mullins, Nicole C. Mullen, Jeni Varnadeu, Jill Paquette, and Daniel Band. I am a big fan of indie Christian music.

Other bits of info: My wife Becky and I have been married since 7/23/83. I am a fan of baseball and the WNBA/women's college basketball. Becky and I have been to over 35 zoos. I write an on-line devotional, and I am involved with Toastmasters since Oct. 2001. Becky and I are area representatives with Voice Of The Martyrs. I am working on a novel. Favorite authors include Dave Hunt, John MacArthur, Cal Thomas, Frank Peretti, Randy Singer, and Alistair MacLean.

After my parents divorced, I stayed with my paternal grandparents a little over 2 years. During that time, I made a profession of faith. That profession was enough to get me to a Bible College that did not assume all its students were saved. But they presented the gospel the way I always heard it, so it did not get to me. Then, on November 3, 1979, I went to a 2nd Chapter of Acts concert. Buck Herring defined a Christian as someone who was surrendered to Christ. The Spirit convicted me. I am a songwriter, but never got published. I play guitar and piano. The good news is that my singing reminds people of a well known singer; the bad news is that singer is Bob Dylan. I work some on lyrics; don't have time to work as much on music now as in the past, and would love to co-write.
