Brandon Heath's debut project, Don't Get Comfortable (Reunion), released last fall to critical acclaim. The first single from this record, "Our God Reigns," landed in the Top 5 at AC radio this past fall and was recently nominated for "Worship Song of the Year" at the upcoming 38th Annual Dove Awards. Chris Tomlin, the reigning Gospel Music Association's "Artist" and "Male Vocalist of the Year," has released a new adaptation of the classic hymn "Amazing Grace." This new rendering, "Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)," is featured on the Music Inspired by the Motion Picture Amazing Grace (Sparrow) project.
The full-length music video features Tomlin singing the hymn along with clips from the film Amazing Grace (Samuel Goldwyn Films/Roadside Attractions/Bristol Bay Productions). Tomlin is also singing the hymn on tour stops this winter/spring, and it is included on his current best-selling album, See the Morning (sixsteps/Sparrow).
