Quick and YUMMY
Posted by: Tricia Goyer on June 2, 2008 at 4:51PM EST

For the last few weeks I've been entertaining a large group of people. You see, we've been planning for our Czech Mission Trip and we've been having weekly potlucks at our house. The company is fun, but the cooking ... well, with my busy schedule it can be challenging.

Then (thanks to Mom Central!) I was able to try Ragu pouches. First of all I had to admit I didn't know what the big deal was. I mean, how hard is it to heat sauce on a stovetop? Then, I tried the pouches. They were superfast and they didn't make a mess in my microwave (unlike pasta sauce popping on the stovetop). And they tasted just as good as the stuff in the jar! With the sauce done, I made a fast spaghetti casserole. Now if I could find a way in which I didn't have to boil the noodles!

Stop Lurking! Every week I will draw names for a free Tricia Goyer book from those who comment on my blogs. Winner's choice! Tell your friends.

Are these pouches safe with all the hoopla about BPA leaching out of plastic? About the noodles -- check the grocery & see if yours sells the FLAT no-boil Barilla lasagna noodles -- there is an AWESOME recipe on the back for a no-boil lasagna recipe that is quick & easy to put together!

Also try crock-pot recipies- way more healthy than pre-packaged stuff.
