Read the first chapter of my new book
Posted by: Tricia Goyer on June 23, 2007 at 12:56PM EST

Tricia Goyer here. My next book to release is My Life, Unscripted. My hope is to get a buzzzz .... started and get people excited about the book before it hits store shelves in September. Here's what I was thinking ...

Recently I spoke with one of the head salesmen at one of the publishing companies I work with. He said that most important thing for him is to be able to tell booksellers WHY people will be coming into their store and asking for a specific book.

My next book is for teen girls. I'm really excited about this book because I truly believe it can transform lives. The main message of the book is that girls can Script their lives instead of just dealing with the teen drama as it comes along. (Something I DID NOT do, which you'll read within the pages of my book.)

Because I believe in this book so much, I'm trying to create a buzzzz ... to me this means getting teens excited about reading this book by themselves and in groups.

It also meaning giving youth workers a sneak peek so they can plan to use this book in the future.

I've asked my publishing house for a pdf file of the Introduction and First Chapter. It's my goal between now and September to get it into the hands of as many teens and leaders as possible.

You can read it for yourself here:

Download my_life_fmch1.pdf

Now, can you help me? Save the pdf file to your computer and then email an attachment it to the young women in your life.

And, if you like what you read, consider pre-ordering it on any on-line bookstore.

You can be the wind beneath my buzzzing.
