MY PERSONAL TESTIMONY
For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21

I was born and brought up in an orthodox Hindu family, where we worshipped idols and gave priority to goddesses. We were very zealous about caste; we used to ridicule people of lower castes and tribal people. We even thought that Christians were also of the low caste. This is why we never allowed any Christians or low-caste people into our home nor let alone touched them. We had our own isolated puja (prayer) room in our house, which contained 27 pictures of various idols. Twenty years ago our entire family was attacked by witch craft, performed by our neighbor. Consequently, my mother and I were demon possessed. For example, while we were starting to have our food, the cooked rice turned into worms.

Many nights we couldn’t Sleep because we heard somebody knocking at our door at nights, but when we opened the door no one was there. In the morning, we woke up to see all our things scattered about. We approached many magicians to try to get rid of these problems and demons. We spent a lot of money and went to many Hindu temples to offer money and materials. But we couldn’t find any deliverance, rather the problems increased even more than before. At last, one Sunday all eight of our family members decided to commit suicide. But fortunately a lady who was serving in a Catholic Church behind our home passed through our house. She asked us, "Why do you look very sad?" As she was talking to my grandmother, the lady entered our home and looked into our puja (prayer) room. Then she said, "In this puja (prayer) room you are keeping many gods, pictures and idols. Did any god died for your sins, except Jesus Christ?" Though we had read some books about Hinduism, we never found any god like Jesus, who died on the cross and who was resurrected from the dead.

Finally we confessed that Jesus is the only God, who died for our sins. Then we shared our problems with the lady and she invited us to attend church. Miraculously, our family escaped from committing suicide. We obtained peace of mind but as we discovered later, not full deliverance from the demons. After some time, one of my mother’s colleagues invited us for an all-night prayer meeting at the Church of South India (Madras), which we attended for seven months. But on the seventh month the demons attacked my mother and me more vigorously. Then the pastor told us about confession of sin and salvation through Christ. The same days my mother was delivered, but I was yet to receive any deliverance. My parents sincerely repented and were baptized. We went back home burned all our idols, pictures, etc.

Three months after my parents` conversion, I was again terribly attached by the demons and laid in bed unconscious for seven days. Even my parents lost hope that I would gain consciousness again. But the pastor from the Pentecostal Church prayed without taking a drop of water for seven days and I got life back. Thorough this event, all the rest of our family came to the Lord and since that time our entire family have been devoted only to Christ. All this occurred in 1979.

After that I went on to further study. While I was completing my degree the Lord called me to serve him full time. He confirmed my call through Luke 6:13 \"AND WHEN DAY CAME HE CALLED HIS DISCIPLES AND CHOSE TWELVE OF THEM, WHOME HE ALSO NAMED APOSTLES\'. I had the privilege of studying the word of God for three years in a seminary(B.D) school at Dehra Dun Uttranchel in North India.

There I received the burden for Punjabis to share the love of Jesus Christ and in 1993, I became a pioneer missionary along with my family. I worked as Project Manager under World Vision in Dehra Dun in the state of Utter Pradesh. He was promoted as Coordinator and transferred to Chandigarh when the Lord spoke to him in 1993.

Daisy Mohan¡’s (My wife¡¯s) Personal Testimony:

I was born and brought up from an orthodox Brahmin, Hindu family. I used to worship idols and images as other Hindus do.

Nonetheless, I did not have any peace in my heart. In addition, I used to get severe headaches. Sometimes, it persisted for a long time and the pain was unbearable. Although my father who was a medical doctor treated me well, my headaches were agonizing.

Even specialists could not help me. One of my hobbies was in reading books, especially novels. One day, I was searching for some books to read from my father¡¯s shelf. In the midst of his books, I found a very old copy of the New Testament. I started to read from the Gospel of Matthew. While I was reading, I began to question, "Who is true God? If Christ is the true God, He must bring right personal to tell me more about Jesus". Undoubtedly, I was expecting an answer. The next day, an old couple from Tamil Nadu who spoke Tamil (my mother tongue) came to our house. They were sharing the Gospel with my father. Gradually, I joined in and asked a few questions about Christ. That very day, I accepted Jesus and the couple asked me to confess my sins. While I was asked to kneel down for prayer I saw Jesus on the Cross-. He told directly "Daughter, Your sins are forgiven." Immediately, I was filled with the Holy Ghost. What¡¯s more, my incurable headache was gone that very moment. Furthermore, the peace I was longing for was overflowing from my heart. As time passed, I was able to share the Gospel with my sister, brothers and my parents. Since 1989, I dedicated to the Lord and Savior Jesus and His ministry.

Early Ministry (Start Up) Establishment of our church
"Go into all the world and preach the good news¡¦"Mark 16:15

Ten years ago, my wife and I were called, by the Grace of God to go into Northern India, a place where the Gospel had not been preached. I had been working as project coordinator for World Vision in Chandigarh the state capital of Punjab and Hariyana in Northern India. The Lord put on our hearts to become a church planter. We prayed and asked God to send us to a place where there were no Christians. He led us to a village known as Maloya.

The people of Maloya are Hindu and Sikh. We would walk everyday 30 kms round trip to hand out Gospel tracts to the people. In the beginning we were collecting discarded tracts because the people were not interested. Many people mocked us, because they thought we were there just to have fun and not work.

For six months there was no response. It was very hard on us because we had no family there and no friends. But, we continued. One day a Hindu man stopped us and questioned what we were doing. We introduced ourselves as full time ministers of God. We shared our testimony and the Gospel with him. He was very much attracted to our message and us. He soon shared his problems with us. He suffered from epilepsy. The doctors could not give him relief. He also was in great financial debt. We told him that through Jesus Christ there is hope. That very day, he and his family accepted Jesus as their savior. We prayed for him and he was delivered from epilepsy and soon after was given a job as a cook and got out of debt and was able to keep his home. We then began praying, teaching and counseling them over the next month. Their neighbors tried to discourage them from associating with the Christians. One woman, who was possessed by a spirit, told this man and his family not to believe what we were teaching them. So they began to come to our house. They were so amazed at the love we showed them that they decided to never return to Hinduism.

After this, one by one his extended family came to know Jesus as their savior. Many other people in the community also heard of the miracles that happened and came to hear about this hope. In ten years time, we have had the privilege of baptizing 174 new believers from the village of Maloya.

By the grace of God from our own church we raised three servants of God, those who had been saved from Hindu community through our ministry from Maloya and sent them to different parts of Punjab.

MY STORIES:

In the Begining of our ministries we had taken a room for worship since a year there was no response from the community. But me and my wife use to go along with my older son little Sam Franklin (6months) and worship the Lord in everySunday 10 am we ouselves sing, worship and put our offering and take back it to home by walk from the church. One time my wife and little frank was exhausted and we felt to go by Rickshaw ( three wheeler) from the church. But we had only Rs.8 in our hands.Usually the rickshaw puller would charge Rs.18 but he asked us to pay Rs.without know of how much we are having at our hand. We empahasized of where we should go still he stood on his rate of taking only. It was great miracle in our life that day.

There was a another story is that I suppose to visit a brother for prayer and I took my two wheeler scooter and had no money in my pocket. Half of way to that brother all of the sudden the scooter stopped and I thought there was some machine went wrong but it was not other than Petrol exhausted. I just stood on the road and prayed in my heart to provide money for gasline. Unexpected the same brother whom I suppose to go and meet him met me the very palce and given me a cover with a lot of money about Rs.300/- then i role down to Gas station and filled the tank and brough some food stuff also for my family.

REV.DR.C.V.JAGAN AND MRS INDRANI MOHAN
PRESIDENT AND FOUNDERS

“Your beginnings will seem humble,
so prosperous will your future be”. Job 8:7

Introduction: It is our great pleasure of write a brief introduction of the ministry that God has established a church in a pioneer place known as Maloya that is an urban village at Chandigarh which is twin-city capital of North West India.

Our Call:
Testimony: We both of us are saved from Orthodox Hindu family in different situation before we got married in June 11th 1991. While I was in the Seminary I used to pray for God’s will to fulfill in my ministry life as a missionary somewhere in Africa. But God intended to me to place me in North India by given a wonderful wife that Daisy who is linguistic of North and Southern languages.
The matter of fact that after I got married with Daisy certainly the Lord has spoken to stay back in North India although I do not know language of Hindi and culture and customs. When I finished my B.D. the Lord open a way to join with World Vision of India as a Project Manager under the Medical Ambassador through Mr. Arul Paul concern at Dehra Dun. During my stay with Medical Ambassador under community development project myself and my wife has been trained by one of the training center known as EFFICOR at Delhi. So both of us joined as community development Officers in the World Vision of India. Since they had found me of my effiencey in my performance of bringing water in a village where people had been suffered without water.
Then they promoted me as a coordinator of the three projects in Chandigarh. As soon as I went to Chandigarh, my wife and my self been so much pressurized by the Power of the Holy Spirit to be a pioneer missionary to establish a church in a place where the Gospel has not preached nor a Christian existed. Then we had decided to resign the job and to start ministry of establishing the church in a pioneer area. We both of us had taken fasting and prayer for 10 days. After 10 days there was a brother came to our house at 5 am knocked the door and stated that he would like to take us a village where there was neither Christian nor church. He carried me by his bicycle about 16 KMS. As Joshua and Caleb went to spy the place very way I found that there was a neither Christian nor church available. It was so exciting me and daisy to start church planting. In those days there was no frequency of transportation available nor we had a vehicle to go to the place which is known as MALOYA VILLAGE AND COLONY. But started ministry by walking 30 KMs with little Sam Franklin nearly for a year.

So we started our ministry by distributing tracks and conducting some free small painting school for young girls by Daisy. By that we had started sharing Gospel to the people and had taken a small room for worship every Sunday. For six months to one year we could not have single person to worship on Sundays but we regularly conducted the service by kneeling down and putting offering and taking it back for our family. So after few months we found a family which approached us for their need of healing of fits and financial problems. They were coming from Hindu and we counseled and comforted them by the Gospel and brought them in to Christ that was first family come to the Lord! The Lord healed a man who had fits since then he was born. Praise the Lord!!!!!

By that way we reached now 174 people and around 48 families came to the Lord!!!!!!!!!

About Chandigarh: The city of Chandigarh, which spans 56 square kilometers in area, is the 'first planned city of India and is the capital of Punjab and Haryana. The city has well-laid roads, which are lined with endless rows of trees, shrubs and boulevards and the buildings have been brilliantly planned against the backdrop of the mountains.

Villages: There are 25 villages, 20 colonies, and 12 urban areas.
There is one of the village and colony known as Maloya. It has five parts that is number one is village, 2.Dhara where key making professional Punjabis (Sikhs) people lives, 3.Hindi people lives from Bihar, Utter Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh and Gujarathies and Himachalies and Hariyanies and some Punjabis 4.Muda colony these people professionally basket makers. 5. Formation of Colony: In 1990 Chandigarh Government has made a policy to help underprivileged people to get some small houses for those are living streets and unauthorized lands of Chandigarh. Mostly these people have been migrated from other states due to employment and to livelihood. Of course Govt. has built a room with toilet and electricity and water with minimum rates of Rs.100/ per month till 25 yrs. mostly they are employed as temporarily in repairing roads by the Public Works Departments and pulling rickshaws. Govt. has provided these houses under the condition of one should not sale it nor purchase it but people knowingly did it due to going back home state and reason of poverty.

AIM: TO REACHEOUT NORTH INDIA BY CHURCH PLANTING
ACHIVEMENTS
A. Spiritual Battle:
a. Divisions: After we entered into this Maloya first thing we found that there are many contradiction and conflicts were prevailing among the people 1.Caste 2.colour, 3.Languages. By the grace of God as we established a church here we preach to remove these evils and to bring unity one in Christ.
Even after people got saved still they had this problems and pressures from their relatives those are not saved in their houses. But the Holy Spirit convicted and converted by His powerful Word and Verses from the Bible. My wife and me became a bridge of between the people through Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Power of the devil been snatched by the Word of God. Eventually people became so friendly and feel as brothers and sisters in our church. In the beginning we were taken a lot of fasting for this problem to solve. Praise the Lord that the Lord answered and rewarded by bringing up with Christ minded.
b. Colour: Naturally South Indians are dark skinned people whereas North Indians are fair and fascinated skinny people. After some got saved from south Indians families, North Indians families’ starts hating them and not to feel comfortable to sit with them. Again we had fasting and prayer the Lord worked their hearts to fill with love of God and to be united as brothers and sisters as they heard of love of God.
3. Language: The principal language we use in our church is Hindi, English and Tamil but Hindi people does not like to hear Tamil again we had preached about heavenly languages (Halleluiah) then now it is over and people are so happy and united one in Christ.

4. Spirit of Prediction: It was one which troubled our Hindu converted people. In their relatives house still they have big battle goes on every moments to listen but our brothers and sisters in Christ now they know how to tackle by prayer and fasting.

5. Community: they are very much annoyed because of some came to Christ and not giving offering for idols. Just a couple of years ago there was a priest in Hindu temple asked to give some offering for Hindu festival but our brothers and sisters denied to offer. At 12 midnight they called me because they had been threatened to remove from their colony and to beat them and kill them. Then I went to their place at once at 12 midnight. They said that you have taught the bible, not to give arms for festival because of you we found a lot of lose and suffering. Then I preached the Gospel to them and solved the problem. With condition they left them by saying that they should not be invited for any good or bad cause in the community. They I stated that we are heavenly people we have more than them.
6. Abortion: It is one of the evil prevailed among the ladies and one of our church believer known as Santos who had been conceived and her husband and elder son (16yrs) resisted and wants her to get aborted. But Daisy and me we advised and counseled her to stand on the Promise of God and resist the evil forces against her pregency. Praise the Lord!!!!!! After sometimes her husband and son agreed with her. She gave twins (boy and girl) 10yrs old now. Lot of fasting and prayer went through see the success.

7. Demon Possessed: there are 5 women and men has been delivered from demon possessed and their family became Christians today.

8. Alcholics: there are about 10 men were delivered from alcoholism and drugs and smoking

9. Baptizms: Previously we used to go agriculture field and give baptism openly. Then we found a lot of opposition by saying that we are converting people etc. This report went to Chandigarh Government and brought that we should not give baptism. But now after we built the church we have tank within our church and this year (2006) we have baptized 13 people. So far 174 people those are came from other faiths (Hindu, Sikhs and Muslim). Among 174 there was none Christian by birth. Halleluiah !!!!!!

Children Ministry: Well, it is one of the channels that we using to reach out the people that are 1. SUNDAY SCHOOL, 2. DAY CARE CENTER.
1. Sunday School: Now there are five Sunday school we have started and each consisted about 50 to 60 children are regularly attending and we believe that this would help the community to know the Lord through their children. The teachers are from our church believers only.
2.DAY CARE CENTER: it is consisted 60 children. These children are mainly comes from underprivileged children and some of them are Sikh and Hindus and Muslim. These children are left their homes while their parents go for job in the morning and some of them are roaming around and never go to school. We catch them by the love of God and teach them how to behave with parents and to learn some moral and spiritual education and give some basic secular education. One or other we want to make some relationship with their parents to get them for Christ by asking and visiting to church. Because of this center we reached about six families. There are many children wants to come to our day care center but due to unavailability of accommodation and funds we are not taken them so far. We also wish to convert this day care into orphanage because of some of their semi parents requesting us to educate and help the child completely since their parent has passed away and left their children without any sort of hope and future.

3. VOCATIONAL BIBLE SCHOOL: We use to conduct VBS and there are about 400 to 500 children comes and attend class and receive the prizes and gifts.

Before 2010 we would like to establish 1000 churches in North India.

Please pray and participate any program by contribution of your money or material to expand His kingdom.

When I was a young student in my last years of college, I became born again.
Not only did I become born again but I found myself a member of a church that did Deliverance the old time way.
By the way, many Deliverance Ministers who’ve fallen away will lose their souls because they have left their first love.
That’s alright. They will preach in captivity.
Many disobedient preachers are preaching in prison as I speak.

I had been in church all of my life and never saw or experienced any of the things we were doing and I felt like I was in a different dimension.
Being a Christian in this ministry was totally different.
We were on call to pray and cast out devils out of people, something that I did not even believe in until I became a part of this ministry!
I would see them fly out of people and hesitate on windows, doors, in entrance ways, before disappearing. When the Pastor laid hands on people a mighty wind would blow around the altar and we Ministers could hardly stand up.

People, even other Christians were continually making fun of us, calling us names like Deep Fried Christians, Tongue Talkers and Holy Rollers.
If you are shaking up the devils territory, you will suffer persecution.

I wanted to leave many times and did, but when I went to other churches, God would still use my gift!

Sometimes he would show me the ruling spirit over a congregation. He let me know that I had this knowledge and he needed me to use it to set people free.

Ask God before making decisions about anything. He will show you about it according to your maturity.
I wanted to take a class at a prestigious Bible school once. God showed me devils teaching tere.

The school had left its first love.Your gifts make room for you wherever you go.

I would discern spirits on people and sure enough when I’d go home, and rest, Jesus would wake me up usually in the middle of the night or later to pray and battle the spirits tormenting the people.

At first I was afraid but I prayed anyway. God would sometimes allow me to hear and see the things that were trying to destroy people, like suicide and depression, which were often actual spirits whispering in the person’s ear.

I would speak the word and pray the word and many times face to face with these spirits who would tell me, “Go away! This person wants to die! Leave them alone.”
They would curse and scream at me, and Jesus would say, “Keep praying. Don’t be afraid.”

My first experience of this kind, I was praying for a woman who had decided to commit suicide.

She was a Christian in the church and she had just gotten tired of the problems in her life, her job, her love life. She had decided to give up. A spirit of suicide had been assigned to her.

Principalities and powers over our cities and our neighborhoods often assign spirits to people to hinder them, especially if you are a leader in any kind of church or organization, doing good.

How do you get rid of a spirit of oppression or any other kind of spirit that has been assigned to you? You can speak the word, and by praise. They cannot stand it.
As a matter of fact, when you praise God, His Spirit descends and envelops you. No devil wants any part of God, believe me. It is like thunder in their ears!

One day my son asked me to pray over his new apartment. I told him that he could do it, I had taught him, but he still insisted that I come over to pray.

It was in a college housing area. When I walked in, whatever it was ran upstairs. I did not get a fearful feeling and knew it wasn’t anything to be alarmed about.

I went upstairs and looked around. My son told me that he could get no peace in that place and his sleep was often disturbed. I felt that someone had been playing with a Ouija board and other sorcery type games. We prayed a simple prayer and peace was restored.

Not all of them leave that easily, but if you keep prayer and continual praise going on they cannot bother you.

Speak the word of God. Play worship and listen to beautiful music in your surroundings.
You do not have to cast out spirits with the word if you are afraid to challenge them head on, just praise God and the oppression will leave.

God woke me up around 11 pm to pray for the suicidal woman. I knew exactly what I was praying for as the spirit revealed.
I prayed for one hour and felt very proud. I had never prayed that long. I headed back to bed.

Just as I was going to put my foot back in bed, God said, “Where are you going? Go back and pray.”

It was twelve O’clock AM. I prayed for this woman until five in the morning. I thought I was going to be tired, but I wasn’t. I went to church and there she was, alive and well. Of course I never mentioned anything. Intercessors are discrete.

Demonic spirits are called unclean spirits because they cause bad things to happen to people.

Certain spirits follow certain families and will hang around for generations until they are gotten rid of.

If you adopt a child, ask God if that child has something from the original family that needs to be dealt with. Some families have poverty, incest, promiscuity and a thousand other curses on them.

Fear is a worrisome spirit to cast out of people. I once knew a family who was afraid of everything. Everything. They were just bound by fear. I remember their deceased mother had been the same way. Always nervous. She had passed it on to her children.

I went to a hospital to pray for one of them and noticed that the woman could not even receive the prayer because her mind was on what she afraid of.

Spirits will talk back to you. If you are sensitive, you can hear them. One night I was praying in a little village and walking back and forth and speaking the word.

A spirit spoke and said, “By what authority do you have to come here and tell these people about the gospel?”

I said, “By the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ who has given me power to tread on serpents and scorpions.
Jesus Christ spoiled principalities and powers and made a show of them openly. All power in heaven and earth has been given to Him and he has given me authority to use this power for his glory.” Silence.

God showed me that this village had a foundation in Him but poverty, drugs and indifference had bound the people spiritually.

Also, although I had problems with some people, they knew that I was sent.

Demonic spirits will often mark their own territory. I have heard them bickering. I heard a woman spirit say to another spirit, “Go away! These are my heavens!”

Pleading the blood of Jesus.
The scriptures tell us that we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony, Revelation 12:11.
We can speak the blood in battles and clear out everything that is coming against us.

One night I decided to go to a public Christian chat room. When I got there, the devil had taken over and there was chaos everywhere.

Discarnate fallen angels were having a field day in the chat room, making fun of everything and everybody, mocking the name of Jesus.

The first thought that crossed my mind was to get out of there as quick as possible, but I knew that there were some Christians there who were trying to maintain peace and failing, so I stayed.

Myself and some others began to talk about the blood of Jesus. Of course this made the devils angry and they got worse.

They even began to use their powers to discern things about me. (Everything is open in the spirit). They chatted and made fun of things about my looks, my health, my family. Was it true? Yes. They are spirits and they can see!

I ignored all of that and talked about how Jesus destroyed them. We brought peace to a traumatic situation, but a public chat has those problems.

That same night I began to experience fear. I told God about it. He told me that I had set the watch (the blood), and my angels were on guard, so why was I worrying?

Just before I fell asleep, I heard two voices speaking. One said, “Did you carry out your assignment on her? The other answered. “No. We went to her house but we couldn’t get through the blood.”
Now if you think this all is strange, or hallucinations, or lies or errors, ask God. He will reveal the truth to you.

If you know that people are carrying out assignments against you, plead the blood! God will turn their plots into foolishness. They won’t know what hit them.

I left a ministry. The leader began to slander me instead of preaching the word. He was angry because I’d told him the truth. I was too busy to be concerned with his slander. (Don’t do that. Always take authority!)

I finally took authority and spoke that the next time he tried to slander me, that he would get a spiritual spanking.
A lady called me and told me that the past Sunday when the Pastor tried to slander me, a disturbed woman stood up and told him, “Why do you keep talking about that woman? Preach Jesus!” He received an open rebuke!

Sometimes the enemy will try to send people to entrap or block you. If you talk about Jesus enough, they will leave in a hurry.

I have a confession to make. I was mad for many years for having been called to fight spirits and battle them head on. Sometimes the fights would go on and on for days and weeks.

The things I would see would be extraordinary and strange. I was standing in a line at the grocery store looking at a rock singers picture. As I looked at him I saw a huge snake around his neck. I looked again and there was no snake. I thought about it for weeks but did not pray. One day looking at the news it was reported that he was in terrible trouble for crimes.

I wondered why God would not rescue me from the calling.
Sometimes I’d pray and pray for peace and he would only say, “My grace is sufficient for you. When you get tired of that demon tormenting you, you will get rid of it.”
I wanted God to get rid of it for me, but
he was getting me ready for battle. We have to grow up.

Battles. One of the hardest battles I fought was with a relative. She did not understand the workings of the Holy Spirit and she kept making fun.

I could not sleep. Every time I would try to rest, I had to get up and pray for this girl. I had to do spiritual warfare for her or something bad was going to happen to her.

Her words were grieving the Holy Spirit. Something was on the verge of happening. I felt that an angel was standing by ready to strike. I don’t know. I just felt a great fear for her.
I did not know what. It is just like God to make you get up to pray for people who are trying their best to destroy you.
Caution--IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, ASK GOD! Or leave it alone.
Mockery, slander on someone who is teaching and preaching the word of God will get you in trouble.

Vision--I once asked God about the soul of a very mean man who was always criticizing people in the ministry. God showed me the man’s soul in a world on a rope suspension bridge. He was hanging there suspended over an abyss. It looked like a forgotten world. Mist and fog was all around him. Do you believe that God can put your soul into such a world? God can do anything. Read in the book of Daniel what he did to Nebuchadnezzar.

The worse spanking I ever receive was bringing home a joke about Hell. A friend said he was going to be the water boy in hell. I came home laughing and told my Mother.
After the spanking she told me how serious a situation that was. Mom did not play with the things of God.

Ask God on how to remove spirits and wait for his answer.
He will give it to you.

Speak the word over your life, work, family and circumstances.

Sing psalms and spiritual songs, making melody in your heart unto the Lord.

The devil will soon get tired of you and go somewhere where he is more appreciated!

I leave you with six words on how to win every battle, every time, “Speak the Word!” and “Praise God!”
