I am Sam Landry and am goin through some hard times, because i fall to peer pressure kinda easy. But anyways, awhile ago i started praying to god that i would lead a more christian life, and he answered me. But it was very painful. My dad decided to look through my itunes and found eminem, system of a down, korn, metallica and other vulgar and obsene bands. Now they are removed and i am starting to lead a christian life again. I hated the pain of my mom and dad listening to a rap song where every other word wuz bad. Its one thing to sin, its another to have your sin in front of someone who cares.
wow, thanks for posting this. you got such heart. it's so cool to hear from teens that are so open and real. you should post on the forums more often. I could easily see God using you to encourage other teens -- and adults like me. you awesome <3
That is great that you are willing to to remove the things that wrongly influence you...it is also great that you are pursuing a christian life even when it's tough. Keep it up! It will be totally worth it, trust God.
