I was born with no fingers on my right hand !

Only 4 little round fingers and one little thumb that didn't develope.

And even though I was born like that

God taught me how to play the piano.

In the beginning as my Mom told me:

She prayed to God and requested that her child would learn to play the piano.

She prayed the prayer while I was in her womb and then the day ca me when I was born she saw that my right hand didn't develope  and said to her self "he'll never be able to play the piano." I think it's pretty amazing that she didn't pray that her child would be born healthy with all ten fingers and toes and could see and hear  and so forth.

I think that probably it just didn't dawn on her that I would be deformed in any way at my birth.

But she really wanted me to learn the piano! That was her hearts desire.

I was the 1st born of my 2 sisters.

About the time I was ten years of age I started picking up the piano by ear with both hands .

I always say that my sisters received the lessons and I received the gift.

So I would watch and listen to my sisters practice from the beginners piano book from their piano teacher and I would play what they were learning.

They played by notation and I played by the Holy Ghost.

Iam still playing by the Holy Ghost today with Praise and Worship Bands and I really love playing in the Spirit.

That is really worshipping the Lord in Spirit and truth for me.

After spending many years on the road with many well known artists in the secular music business,I am right where God wants me working in ministry, and my only motive is to bring God glory through my music.

I am always available for HIM!

God is amazing.  (I could just stop at that!)  I just learned this week that my adoption song, "Child of My Heart", has been used numerous times already by www.attach.org , a non-profit agency in Illinois, (with conferences nationwide) at their various adoption-related conferences, etc. I got a testimony this morning from an adoption worker (with ATTACH) who has played the song for many adopted children, including a precious little girl from Russia. She wrote: "One girl (whose birth mom was murdered in Russia) was really touched as she feels her birth mom went to heaven and arranged the adoption. Bless her and you."

STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN, Todd Agnew, Sandy Patti, Geoff Moore, and Becky Wright. What do these artists have in common?  They're all on a 10-song adoption CD called "The Spirit of Adoption" (released 9/06, Streator, IL). Get your copy at www.beckywrightsongs.com . (God's doing!)

I also received a PHONE CALL from country star, Wayne Warner (adoptive dad) this week, because he heard "Child of My Heart" and WROTE me this message: "I admire your work. Please add me as a friend." WOW!!  Wayne wrote and produced "God Bless the Children" in 2005, using an all-star country cast to record the song and the video, to increase adoption awareness. www.waynewarner.com  (God bless YOU, Wayne! Can't wait to work with you!)

The Dept. of Human Services in Oklahoma, as well as numerous private adoption agencies, and NOW the Arkansas Adoption Coalition, are also using the song, and scheduling me for events around these states.

GOD'S WAYS ARE HIGHER THAN OUR WAYS, and His THOUGHTS HIGHER than our thoughts!  I never would have dreamed...   And NOW, many people who do NOT know GOD, are hearing about Him through an adoption song. This was NOT MY PLAN-- but HIS!!   To God be the glory!   Becky Wright www.beckywrightsongs.com

My fiance and I have been Christians for just over a year.  In that year my life has gone from something worthless, to something priceless.

I remember being in grade one and saying the Lord's Prayer every day and then one day, we weren't allowed to say it anymore.  It became a bad thing.  As a young 6 year old I walked away from that experience thinking there was no God, that's why they pulled the prayer from the school.  I ingrained that belief system into my head so deeply that I felt like i was going to go crazy.  I simply couldn't imagine what the point of life was and I was sinking deeper and deeper into a depression.  I was officially lost.

Now my fiance wasn't Christian, but there was something in him that believe there was a higher power.  One day I came to him crying and said "Daren do you remember what it felt like to believe in Jesus as children?  Everything felt so wonderful then."  After that my fiance was almost assaulted by this pretty little melody and these bizarre lyrics.  He called the song Pray (Jesus is the Way) and he wondered (as a secular person) what he was going to do with this song!  We tried to push it out of our minds, but God would have none of that.  Christian references, movies, songs, emails and anything else you might think of that is Jesus related started coming out of the woodworks.  Coincidences?  Nah... WAY too many miracles to be anything but that... miracles.

We were feeling pretty weirded out by this point, here we had this song that we felt ashamed of because we weren't Christian and for some reason everything in our life was starting to point Christian!  So, we started to do some research and there is nothing that proves Jesus didn't exist in the physical world and when we started looking at the spiritual clues He was sending... it became a no brainer.

Daren felt the cleansing power of forgiveness one day in an epiphany and he has been a devoted follower since that day.

And me?  Well I humbly asked Jesus one day to help me through giving me a wise excerpt from the bible.  I just wanted to know if He was watching.  I pulled a quote from Revelation.  The one with the 100 pound hail stones and men cursing God.  I remembered feeling disappointed.  Until 10 minutes later it hailed on the clearest day in March and the people just outside my window... cursed God because a HUGE hailstone had broken their windshield!

I believe my first response was: "IT'S HAILING! IT'S HAILING!" I ran to the phone and called my fiance... (who had been there when I asked for something inspirational from the bible) and I got his voicemail, because he was calling me and leaving me a message: "IT'S HAILING! IT'S HAILING!"

So we have been followers ever since.  We have picked up our crosses and we are trying desperately hard to show people that if you can learn to accept that living this life has nothing to do with material gain and everything to to with finding the clues God left for you to follow, things will feel really good.

So that's my testimony.  Jesus really is the way :) He really, really is.

When my son was 4 years old he was diagnosed with A.L.L Leukemia.  It was a total shock to us.  We were devastated.  We immediately set out to do every treatment they could give him to save his life.  We fought with everything we had for 3 years, but we lost.  Our beautiful son passed away at 7 years of age.  Only 27 days after his 7th birthday, he died.  I don't understand why God didn't chose to save him, but I know beyond a shadow of doubt that God got us through it.  I did not want to live after he died.  The pain is too great.  But I dont' get a choice in the matter, and apparently God wanted me around for a reason.  God has been my strength and my shield.  If not for God, I wouldn't be here today.
