Hi guys,
I am trying to reconnect and have more intimacy with God but I have this brick wall between myself and Him. Or at least thats how I picture the situation. I want to trust God and I know that I should but I have a serious trust issue. I've had it all my life due to the many times my heart has been broken and my spirit hurt. What should I do to trust God more and on a deeper level. Please pray that I break down my wall and live a life free from worry and anxiety as I trust God day by day.
I once went through a situation similar to that, I felt my relationship with God could be much better,So I read my Bible more often and prayed every chance I got. Ask God to take away whatever is stopping a deeper relationship between ya'll, He knocked down walls in the Bible....and don't forget to worship him that really helped me feel closer. Also Don't worry it only weighs us down but a kind word will cheer us up...(I think that is a proverbs....um check out Proverbs 12:25, and another great passage is Mathew 6:25, and there are alot more great scriptures that can really comfort and direct you. You just got to search through the word...God usually shows me what I need to read...Ask him and he can show you too! He wants to have you closer to him. GodBlessYou!
