This story is a kind of long one, so if you don't have time to read it all, i understand.

In September of 2006, my step-sister, Chelsea, was assulted by her dad. I was standing about 5 feet away when it happened. He bruised her and put her arm into a sling for a week. She has yet to see him since then. There has been many custody battles over her brother, my step-brother, Dustin, and my parents have spent alot of time in court over it. Anyway, my sister got a restraining order against her dad and has not seen or spoken to him in well over a year, because, well, legally, she couldn't. In this time, he has sent a letter from his lawer to my parents' lawer saying that he wanted nothing to do with either of the kids anymore, he wanted to forgo all his parental rights, and that their step-dad, my dad, could adopt them. This threw us for a loop. My parents had NO intentions EVER to have my dad adopt them. This left Chelsea and Dustin with feelings of loss, abandonment, and low self worth. Especially Chelsea. She wanted to see her dad soooo bad, to tell him that she still loved him and forgave him for what he did, but, as stated before, she couldn't legally contact him. But as of day before yesturday (December 26, 2007), she can legally contact him. All day, she was kind of having a battle inside of herself trying to decide if she wanted to call him or not. At dinner that night, she discussed it with our parents, and decided that she was going to e-mail him. She updated him on what has gone on in the past year, and told him that she loved him, dispite what he did. I read it and wanted to cry. Now her dad can't e-mail her directly, only she can contact him, he can't contact her, but he can send an e-mail to my mom that is directed to her. Everyone here is on edge about what he is going to say. My mom is especially concerned and scared that he is going to say something that is going to hurt Chelsea deeply, but he still hasn't responded. I just want everyone who reads this to keep Chelsea in your prayers. She is a strong person, but this is obviously bugging her. Just pray that whatever her dad has to say, it won't hurt her, i don't know how much more she can handle. No 15 year old should have to go through this, but she does, and she needs all the support she can get. Thank you so much!

Please join me in prayer that my hearing for disability is decided in my favor; I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia syndrome, Chronic fatigue syndrom, COPD, depression, high blood pressure and several other illnesses. I don't work because I can't sit for hours and type anymore, I can't walk distances or hold things without dropping them, and my daughter is pretty much doing all my housework, right down to having to brush my hair, since I can't raise my right arm to do so due to periperheral neuropathy from shoulder to fingertips; I am totally dependent on her help right now, especially financially and homewise. To receive my disability would allow me to regain some of my self-respect, and allow me to live somewhere where everything is on one floor and there would be people who understand the disease of FM/CFS. This do I ask in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you. Amen and amen.

Below I have posted an email from a friend of mine.  Please keep them in your prayers!!  This is a hard time for them all.  Today is day 8 of the children being gone from Daniel (Father, who has been issued custody).

For those who don't know, our daughter-in-law Evelyn decided to take our three grandchildren. Daniel is 6 and knows Jesus. Joyce is 5, Andrew is 3. We are at our wits end as to where she has gone. This is our sixth day without them and each day is more heartbreaking.
Please pray God's will for there journey and that we could at least be able to talk to them soon. Pray for Evelyn every turn or decision she makes would lead her where Christ would intervene.

A warrant was issued for her arrest on Sat. Morning I don't know the charges. The detective told me that if their were no results by Monday that he would then be seeking help from the F.B.I.
Thank you to those who have been praying and calling and to those whose prayer continues on. As soon as we know we will get word out to you of you answered prayers.
God Bless You All

I really need help with my walk with God.  I want to be so attracted to God that he is the only thing I think of, and I want to be so in love with him that I am crazy for him.  I want to be a Christian that has so much love for people that not even fear itself can stop me from speaking his word and sharing God.

I want to be a great Christian!!

Please pray for me.

My name is Steven Goodykoontz, if you cannot enunciate my last name, just say Stevie G, Big Steve, Bubba, Tuba Steve or Stevo.

Thanks all you AWESOME GOD FILLED CHRISTIANS!!!!

I met a homeless man outside the grocery store about a week ago. He said he had no where to go. My dad and i gave him $2 and went on our way into the store. When we came out, he was still there. So, we gave him our change from our previous purchase which was approx $15. He told us his situation...he had to get to a town that was about 100 miles from the store. He asked if we could give him a ride. We, unfortunatly, couldn't. He told us that his whole family had disowned him, and he had no where to go. I told him about God. I told him that God was with him and to put all his worries, hopes, and griefs on God. I silently prayed for him then.

His name is Harvey Clemmings.

Please pray for him.

That is all I ask.

May God bless you and have a Happy Holidays.
