Idol in Atlanta

Well, Idol was in the town that gave us Third Day and a ton of great artists. It was kind of an interesting show tonight.

My wife is a visiting nurse, so I kind of dug the visiting rocker nurse..Amanda Overmyer. The pageant girl, Brooke Helvie, I got a kick out of, though Simon found her annoying. She mentioned God being first and praying, so maybe she's a Christian. The girl who's Dad died two days earlier was awesome..Asia'h Epperson. I just don't know how she could have even auditioned. Shouldn't she be at home with the family? I hate to be skeptical in a situation like that, but it just didn't seem right. Finally, the kid who lived in his car was unique..Josiah Leming. Cool name..my daughter would have been named Josiah if she was a boy. I never saw Cardin McKinney sing, who I saw standing in the crowd waiting. She was the one I mentioned a week ago with a big buzz online about her.

Thanks for the American Idol update in your blog. I checked out Phil Stacey's performance of Blaze Of Glory on American Idol on YouTube and it was real good. I also enjoyed Phil Stacey's new radio single. I will have to check out American Idol tonight to see what happens.

I LOVED THE SHOW! i think it was the best one yet, there was so much talent. and so many stories. the lady who lost her dad , she did pick a great song to sing for him. and the boy who lived out of his car. it made me so happy to see him get through. he reminds me of so many people i know who do live out of their cars and go around playing music to get by. it really touched me. i wish him luck! i liked everyone on it. they all done good!

I think the girl who lost her Dad was really good, she changed the song and everything, everyone in my house was crying after her audition.. I have no idea how she could of have auditioned 'that' song after what happened to her 2 days earlier... Josiah ( by the way, I LOVE that name), was really good, and it was weird that he had that accent, I think he will do good tho..
