Have a favorite song on Mark's album...She Was Watching.

Here's the Jars picture.

Today is Sept. 26, one of the most anticipated release days in recent Christian music memory. Amy Grant, Chris Tomlin, Philips, Craig and Dean, and lots more.

The one I looked most forword to was Mark Schultz's "Broken and Beautiful" Listening to it for the first time now. Finally getting to hear the finished version of "Walking her Home", that he clowned around with on his live project and in concert the past few years. He changed the last verse around to make the husband walk his beloved wife right into heaven. Classic Mark tearjerker..

The other CD which everyone has raved about is Jars of Clay "Good Monsters" Finally got my copy and it's all it's cracked up to be. A few of the guys are from my area in Rochester.

Here are pictures of Jars back in 2001 or so, and Mark with Matthew West a few years ago.

The TV show Celebrity Duets has had a few interesting Christian artists or artists who have recorded gospel music, like Randy Travis, Aaron Neville, Deniece Williams, and Wynonna, who sang the classic Foreigner song "I want to Know What Love Is." I would have rather have seen Rochester native and believer Lou Gramm sing his own song, Buy Wynonna did a good job.

Pray for Lou Gramm as he has left Foreigner and is trying to put a Christian band together. Also for his health. He goes to a local Calvary Chapel in the area.

Let's put another top 5 picture here...this time Kerry Livgren of Kansas. My friend George took this picture in 1979, shortly after his conversion. Check out the bold cross!

OK, I am trying to figure out what I'm doing. In conjunction with my top albums from the 80's, I wanted to put pictures. I think I have to write my blog first than add the picture. Let me try it this way with a picture I took of Amy and Smitty back in 1988. The picture of Stryper is from 1985 that my friend Margie took out in California.
