My favorite chrastian artist is the beautiful Stephanie Gallagher of Lex-Ridge because...  well she is my wife!  I can tell you though unbiasedly that she is way better than most people I hear on the radio aand is  an awesome song writer.  If you are interested you can download it on napster or rhapsody and soon itunes.  Sorry if this seems like cheesy self promotion but if we don't let people know about us then our music is worthless.  What good is it if no one can ever hear it.

Wow, that question can be tough with so many great artist out it's hard to choose.  My favorite two at the moment are Tedashii and Da T.R.U.T.H. Both of them brings such a unique style of rap that just engage and provoke you to action! Whether it is to staying committed to the faith or being free from sin these brothers bring in straight hard at you!  When I listen to their music it always put me in the mood to want to serve God with more tenacity and intensity which in my opinion is what music should do.

We have a release show on October 14, 2007 @ Noonday Baptist in Marietta, GA.

Check out the site to get more info and get involved.

I can relate very much to what Casting Crowns songs relate to. There songs have alot to do about Jesus Christ, and they help me through the day. Whenever Im in a bad mood I can crank up the radio and listen to them and the next moment Im happy again because I know what Jesus did for me, and what je went through. So I highly suggest Casting Crowns to anyone who ever needs a boost, or feels like they just dont belong.

Third Day is my favorite band because they have so many songs that can relate to people and oi have seen them twice in the past two years and their shows are soo great and they just keep getting better. I have met only one of the guys from Third Day(Mac Powell, lead singer) and he is a very nice guy. It just seems like the more that you listen to their music the more it relates to you in general.

There is no possible way that I could pick a favorite...I like everything from bethany dillon to grits. I mean, my music library is so diverse that anyone can find something they like to listen to. It also makes the road trips even more fun. There is nothing like having Family Force 5's drama queen come right after Michael W. Smith's above all. It's crazy!!

my fave christian group right now is rush of fools. i met them a couple days ago and you can tell they love God. they don't act all stuck up or anything and they are more than willing to talk to their fans. plus they write really good songs with a great message. they're on tour right now with todd agnew and if they're coming to your town i totally recommend going to the concert.

I love Michael W. Smith so much, while I also really like Skillet and Disciple. I know that it's a little different, but that's what I like. I would hate to have to choose between all of them. I love just about everything, so it's difficult having to choose a favorite.

Project 86 in a short time has become my favorite band of all time. I literally listen to one of their CD's every day. It's not too often a band comes around that I can make that claim about!! With a CD collection that contains hundreds of CD's with all styles from classical to jazz to mariachi to metal (and everything in between) I definitely have plenty others to choose from but I have made a connection with this group's music and lyrics that I have with no other. My ultimate favorite CD is "Drawing Black Lines", although, that's like choosing a favorite diamond among six that are all 12 carats and priceless.

Andrew Schwab is one of the best lyricists I have ever seen. I sometimes read and reflect on their lyrics even without listening to the songs. They read like poetry and they have so many layers. You get new ideas and insight every time you read them.

And don't forget Andrew, the novelist. I am reading his book "It's All Downhill From Here" and enjoying it!! Also, keep those columns in CCM magazine coming!!!
