2007 Year In Review

It's hard to believe that 2008 is already here. In some ways, last month flew by. In others, it didn't end quick enough. Regardless, the new year is here. I didn't make one post through the entire month of December. It wasn't because I didn't have stuff to blog about. I just found that my time was being occupied by things other than blogging.
In keeping with the tradition that I started last year, here is my personal recap of 2007.
- January
- February
- Had my first car accident in over 14 years when I was rear ended
- March
- Played my first 2 shows with Judah First
- UK lost in the 2nd round to Kansas
- Tubby Smith left UK to coach at Minnesota
- April
- UK hired Billy Gillispie from Texas A&M to replace Tubby
- Played a GMA Showcase with Judah First sponsored by ShoutLife.com
- Launched our first site at the office: http://www.ccmmagazine.com
- May
- Celebrated my 11th Anniversary with my wife
- June
- Bought an HD TV :-)
- Watched the Series Finale of Stargate: SG-1
- Read "The Five Love Languages" book with my wife and saw a dramatic improvement in our marriage (that has continued to last)
- Watched the 3rd installment of 3 trilogies back-to-back-to-back: Spiderman 3, Shrek 3, and Pirates of the Caribbean 3
- Launched our second site: http://www.christianmusicplanet.com
- July
- Had one of the best visits ever with my in-laws and their extended families in Ohio
- Launched our third site: http://www.preaching.com
- August
- Was contacted by Eowyn about co-writing some songs for her new album
- Also contacted by the former vocalist of Jesus Freaks about doing some writing for a couple of projects
- September (was a good month!)
- Launched our 4th site: http://www.youthworker.com
- Went to Missouri to visit with my new friends, the Koeshalls
- Celebrated my 34th birthday
- My wife got me a Pro Tools rig for my birthday
- Got tickets to Big Blue Madness
- Got to meet Mitch Malloy, an artist that I've been a fan of since '92
- October (was a great month!)
- Went back to KY and saw some relatives and dear friends
- Went to the Big Blue Madness with my buddy Joel
- Watched UK defeat #1 ranked LSU in football
- Celebrated my wife's birthday
- Played a couple of shows with Judah First
- November
- Basketball season tipped off
- UK LOST to Gardner-Webb... I'm still recovering
- I went to my first college football game, UK @ Vandy... UK won :-)
- Went back to KY again for Thanksgiving and had the best Thanksgiving meal ever
- December
- Did some studio tracking with my friends from Missouri
- Dim some writing with my buddy Joel
- Began a bathroom remodel project in our home
- Celebrated Christmas at home
