A Friday Quick Hit:
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." - Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV)
Sometimes when you see that list you think "well, I have some of those
but not all of those." Sometimes it can make you question whether or
not you're listening to God and feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Remember you're not perfect. You're human. You're going to make
mistakes. While there may be times you have all of those things on
display through your actions many times you'll slip up. It doesn't
mean you're out of God's will, it doesn't mean He's taken his favor
from you and it doesn't mean the Spirit has gone away. It means you
made a mistake or you just missed His leading on something. Forgive
yourself, ask forgiveness of others if you need it and move on. God's
not going to hold it against you.

That's true, and remember that a righteous person may fall 7 times, but they get back up again. Somewhere in Proverbs it says that.
