Hey Everyone,
I'm a DJ from Canada and looking for YOUR 2007 highlights in Christian music for my year-end show!!! Let me in on the memorable concerts, album, songs, artists of the year!!!
I just got DreamLab's "Club Revival" CD. It's beautiful electronic dance music (and a few chill tracks) with worshipful lyrics. One track with a furious pace has the vocal line, "He will reign forever and ever" sung in a grand manner. Beautiful music, worshipful lyrics.
An album I've been listening to all year and still really enjoy is the one by Oceans Above. Popular praise & worship songs are given the pop-musicbox treatment and sound like new songs all over again.
Other 2007 releases I really liked are Joy Electric's "The Otherly Opus," The Brothers Martin release, "Twilight" by Future Of Forestry, John Reuben's "Word Of Mouth," and "The Healing of Harms" by Fireflight.
