Asked by: Anonymous on May 1, 2007 at 12:24AM EST
I've got a question I've been woundering about for a while. When I go to post a comment or ask a question it says Entry URL (optional). What does that mean?

Thanks!!!!

I'm not sure what it means, but URL is the web address (e.g. http://www.google.com/). I don't know WHICH web address it wants, nor have I experienced that before, so that's as much as I can give you.

If I find out more I'll let you know.

Yes, "URL" is the address. Why it is "optional" I don't know ... which is why I am typing in this response, so I can test it myself.

Oh. I see. If you look to the directions next to the box where you asked the question, it says you have the option to include a link. I guess this is if you want to put your blog address or whatever. (It's standard for posting comments across the Web.)
