okay so not that I am going to kill myself ever but I've always wondered.....are you still saved if you kill yourself?

HMMMM ~ I am so not sure ~ so why take a chance?? I wouldn't ~ Instead I would seek the Lord and he would show me His ways are better than mine like he always does :):)

but just theoretically, yes i think a Christian can make mistakes/sin and still be a Christian, so suicide would be a horrible sin, but Jesus' resurrection allowed us to be forgiven for every sin - nothing can separate us - check out romans 8.

I agree with ccmchick. once we become christians, we are for life. it will be a sin that will have to be answered for in heaven, but you will still be saved. frankly i would not want to tell my creator that i destroyed his temple and did not think his plan was good enough to take matters into my own hands. besides suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem...the bible says "this to shall pass"
