i was just wondering, can someone prove to me that there is really a god ?

All of the proof you need is in the Bible which is the true word of God. When you read through the Bible you will realize God does exist. If reading through the Bible doesn't give you enough proof then you can always pray to God as He will answer your prayers then you will realize that there is a God. I hope that helps you with having proof that there is a God.

the bible and listening to others testimonies is all the proof you need. heres a testimony from me. where i live there was the mean pitbull that tried to bite me, and it didnt help that i had to walk to my bus stop. so from that point on i started praying and guess what i havent seen that dog in a month. and two months ago when it saw me it just walked up to me and then walked away! i have more if you ever want to hear them!

For me, I have no need for proof whatsoever, but I have a story if you do need proof. There was an atheist teacher. All year, he tried to convince his class that there was no such thing as God. At the end of the year, he asked the class if anyone still believed in God. One kid (some thought he was foolish) stood up, although he knew the teacher would yell at him or so forth. The teacher said "If God doesn't exist let this peice of chalk fall and break on the ground." He then dropped it, and as it was about to hit the floor beside his shoe, it hit his shoe, rolled down to the ground and did not break. The teacher ran out of the room, his whole year wasted because of God's power to prove he was real. True story dude.

This is how I look at it. You see, evolution and the big bang theory have already been disproven. Scientists have now compared the whole idea of the big bang theory to the scenario of a tornado tearing through a town and then, all the sudden, dropping a 747 plane. They are also saying that the order of and laws of the physical universe are way to complex to be just "an accident" So there is proof that there is a creator, but it's up to the people of this world to decide who they believe created it. I, for one, believe that it was God.

Hi Shorty,
I can just give my experience here. When I was growing up God was only something you said when you stubbed your toe or forgot something or messed up again. ie: Oh god,... I forgot my homework or god I did it again! Boy am I in trouble. I never saw a bible in the house and no one spoke of the Lord.
A lady Mom worked with asked if I could she could take me to church. Mom asked me saying she had 2 girls my age. I didn't know what church was but was all for playing with the girls. I went several times and never understood what the preacher was talking about. Just waiting for them to get it over with so we could go to thier house and play monopoly etc..
I was sitting on the pew one night not paying attention as usual. I was holding the lady's baby in my lap and playing with him. All of a sudden the Spirit entered me. Huge tears of repentance fell like raindrops washing me in a love I had never ever imagined existed. The gift of repentance was so needed by me at age 11. Even though I didn't understand why then he led me into truth as he grew my faith along lifes path.
You see I learned later that my Mom was actually my Grandmother and my real Mom didn't want any responsibility of children and had given away 3. One when he was 3 years old. I being the oldest had to endure my baby brother being taken away after 3 years not to mention the other 2 never coming home being given up at birth. I am sure I understood the pregnancies should have brought a baby home.
I never had a Father either. As it happened I was pretty much on my own at age 11. So I was on the road to bitterness.
If the Lord had not intervened at that time in my life showing me a love so pure I would have never known love. You see when he fills you with his Spirit it brings peace and joy and many other needed facets to endure life with. I have been thru a lot but with God it is much, much easier.
He lives Shorty. He is so very real. Just ask him to show his self to you. He may even if you don't ask. Like he did me. God meets everyone where they are at in life. Come to him as a little child Shorty. In innocence. As if what ever has happened to you was in wide eyed acceptance. Isn't that what children do? Accept it good or bad as if it was thier own doing?
It is his to bare. Not ours. That is why he went to the cross. To take all our sins on his self that we may not have to bare them. Isn't that the nicest thing anyone could ever do for us?
The word says God put in all of us a little measure of faith. It will grow if you ask Shorty, by God's testimonies.

look around you there is proof of God everywhere scientific and biblical but whether there is proof or not there is something called faith that every christian needs because without faith there probably wouldn't be any christians and you dont need proof to have faith
