Ok, really random question, BUT.......

I was just thinking that it would be really cool to publish manga books to go along with the books I write. However, I'm not sure anyone would want to read the story in manga after they've already read it in manuscript.

Soooo...............

I need opinions from the people! Hahahaha. So what do you think? Would you read the manga version of a book if u've already read the original version??????

Manga is Japanse-style comics ("manga" is literally the Japanese word for "comics").

To answer the original question, publishing a story in two different forms is pretty common. Many books are printed in multiple forms (hardcover, softcover, mass market, etc.). And how many times have you seen a movie that was originally a book?

(Not to mention, a movie gets played onscreen, on pay-per-view, on HBO, on DVD ...)

Offering your story in multiple formats means you have more chances for a potential audience to find you. A few may want your story more than once, but the majority of your potential readers will simply choose the format that best suits them.
