just wondering

Is anyone else afraid of the reality that someday we are going to live for ever, and ever, and ever etc...when I think about it now, im so unnerved. I realize that once we are dead and standing before our Lord that there will be nothing to fear, but to try and imagine it now scares me.

It is nothing to be scared of. The only scary part is when God judges us from what we did in our life. I think the rest of it will be awesome as Heaven will be a great place to be in.

I agree.. the scary part is when we sin now and know that we will be judged for it. Praise the Lord that Jesus died for our sins and the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin so we can get it right. Our goal is to always try and be like Jesus in all we do.

Please check out the book "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn. You will find (as I did) that Heaven and the New Earth will be full of new adventures and remarkable times we could never dream of. There will never be a dull moment. No sadness, sickness, or unhappiness. Only praising the good Lord and enjoying eternity with (saved) friends, family and loved ones.

I'm not exactly afraid, i'm just kinda "weirded" by it. Because it is really weird to think about. I mean, we've been alive for a long time already, but out lifetime is only one millisecond compare to eternity! And i just think that's awesome!

Yeah, I get what you mean. It does seem kinda weird that we'll be living forever.. and ever.. and ever. But I also can't wait and can't imagine what it will be like in heaven
