My question is about teen style in the church. My kids and some of their church friends like the Emo style that is popular among so many teens right now. I know where my kids Faith lies and know what they believe in, and to them this 'Emo' style is more about fashion then it is lifestyle. There are many at our church who think that these kids need to stop dressing this way and start dressing the way 'christian' kids should dress, so that they are presenting themselves as christians to other teens outside of the church. I need someone else's point of view. Please help!

My wife and I have just started giving away Prayer Bears that we purchase from a catalog. We only give these plush teddy bears to children in need of prayers. I know one of the members of a Nashville, TN band called "Niacin Flush", he has offered to organize a benefit concert to help us raise the money needed to purchase the Prayer Bears and continue the mission God asked us to do. I challenge other bands to do the same. Does your band accept the challenge?

I have been going to my current church now for about 5 years and everything had been going good, but now I have been finding things out about it that I don't agree with, things that are going on in the church that should not go on in the church. I don't know what to do really. Myself and others are not happy with what is going on. We have confronted the pastor on one of the matters and he addressed one situation because, we think, he was confronted. I need some advise on what others opinions are, should I find another church or what should I do?

Hey guys. Have any of you realized that our world is messed up? There's a WAR going on in Iraq, which war sucks. There's people murdering others frequently, there's people robbing others frequently. There's kids MY age (thirteen) having sex and doing drugs (I know a kid who's like this). There's MAJOR poverty in Africa. My question to all of is that, if this world is messed up, is it God's will, like in Revalation, where there world turns pretty much into a living hell, there will be national currency (like in Europe, there's the Euro, which is used pretty much everywhere in Europe, so we're getting close)? Or is it just coincidence, and we can still save the Africans who live in poverty everyday, or others who are doing drugs? Is God starting Revelations, or can the world be saved? Thanks.

this is my first year in college, and i needed to be full time this first semester so i took an elective, drawing 1, surprisingly to me, i did very well, my teacher says i have lots of talent, and that i should major in art.
yet, my parents think it's not a very practical career. and i myself don't know of an interesting enough art career that i would want to do for the rest of my life.
but i really enjoy drawing, and i felt right at home in that class.
my teacher wants me in her next level class, but i don't want to take any classes that don't count towards my major in psychology. i would love to take art classes for fun, but i have to pay for college out of my own pocket as it is.
i dunno what to do, major in art without any particular job in mind, or just leave it as a hobby... i'm open to any suggestions, thanks

I was just thinking that it would be really cool to publish manga books to go along with the books I write. However, I'm not sure anyone would want to read the story in manga after they've already read it in manuscript.

I need opinions from the people! Hahahaha. So what do you think? Would you read the manga version of a book if u've already read the original version??????

Hey everyone. I just found this Ask Out Loud thing and I'm so excited because I have a question!! My boyfriend loooves playing guitar and leads worship for church. I know he would love to have a subscription for a guitar magazine. I don't know which one to subscribe to though! I feel weird getting him the GuitarWorld because there are a lot half naked girls in there (haha, that's the girlfriend in me not liking that). GuitarPlayer looks good too, but I'm not sure if it is as good at GuitarWorld. Does anyone know about any of these or have ANY advice for me?? Thanks, Ang :)
