Long before he became a box office smash,
Tyler Perry made a name for himself with his popular gospel plays. Just in time for Christmas, Lions Gate Home Entertainment is releasing a DVD box set collecting Perry's first seven plays: "Madea's Family Reunion," "Madea Goes to Jail," "I Can Do Bad All By Myself," "Why Did I Get Married?," "Meet The Browns," "Diary of a Mad Black Woman," and "Madea's Class Reunion." These are DVDs of the theatrical productions; several titles, of course, have since gone on to become motion pictures.
