MEDIAWEEK: Tyler Perry to Host the 2006 Black Movie Awards

MediaWeek's Programming Insider reports that Tyler Perry, star of the sitcom "Tyler Perry's House of Payne," has been named host of "The 2006 Black Movie Awards—A Celebration of Black Cinema: Past, Present & Future." The event airs on TNT Oct. 18.
