"New EP, Kinetic, available now!"

Plane of Existence is quickly becoming the Southwest's new face of modern rock, mixing powerful guitar work with transcendent vocals and evocative rhythms.

The group was conceived in 2001, when childhood friends John Kehoe (guitar/vocals) and Jason Lockhart (bass) began writing songs together in their hometown of Austin, Texas. They solidified the lineup in late 2003 with the addition of mutual friends Dietrich Schmidt (vocals/guitar) and Zach Boston (drums). Now aged 19 and 20, the quartet is bringing their youthful energy to audiences everywhere.

In early 2006, the band completed work on their second EP, Kinetic, with producer/engineer Stuart Sullivan (Sublime, Butthole Surfers). The disc has been an instant hit, with the following radio adds so far: Track 4, "In My Way," has been getting spins on Austin's KLBJ FM, while the title track is in rotation on 107.5 FM in Queensland, Australia, and on Spin 180, a Christian internet radio show broadcasted on over a dozen community stations across the U.S.

In recent performances, Plane of Existence has shared the stage with Duncan Sheik, Vallejo, Bob Schneider, Monte Montgomery, Soulhat, Pushmonkey, Wideawake, and South FM. Their influences include everything from Hoobastank to Jeff Buckley to A Perfect Circle.
