I grew up in church and was always around it. I accepted Christ in kindergarten at chapel in my private school. My dad was constantly at work and I rarely saw him and dreaded him coming home for about the first 10 years of my life. I moved when I was in 4th grade, went from a private school to a public school, and in middle school I started to drift, I just wanted to be popular and have a lot of friends. When I became a freshman I had my first girlfriend and saw all the things happening and decided I didn't want to be a part of that, I wanted to be different from the rest of the world. My first girlfriend and I were together for about 8 months and went downhill quickly after about 3, we shouldn't have stayed together as long as we did but I was trying to make it work. My dad lost his job in this time and started spending more time at home, I became part of the youth leadership, half following my girlfriend, when we broke up I sought God for real and became closer to Him. Sophomore year I met a girl and knew that I shouldn't go out with her because it wouldn't work but I ended up asking her out the summer between sophomore and junior year, we were together for about a year, she cheated on me and constantly lied to me, that relationship went downhill after about 8 months, once again we should've broken up earlier but I tried to make it work. I went in to senior year trying to wait until college, made it about 3/4 of the way through before I fell in love with a girl that I had liked since the 6th grade, I'm currently getting ready to attend Hanover College and very frustrated because I feel like I should be with her but I don't know what I'm doing because she doesn't want to be with me, I'm trying to see God's will in this but it's extremely difficult and I'm very frustrated.
