"Across the world's beautiful tapestry of cultures, we far too often lose sight of the reality that faces are different but the heart is the same. The needs of a child in Palestine are no different from the needs of a child in Israel, or anywhere else for that matter. Each face reflects the heart's need to love and be loved, to care and be cared for, and to walk in peace and security, without fear. Those of us who are no longer children need to be mindful that a child's future is most often determined by our choices, and how we act upon them. Consequently, since each of us is not without an impressionable audience, the ultimate challenge before us is to weave our attitudes and influences wisely and responsibly into our unique part of life's tapestry."
