When I was 2 years old, we were at the Mississippi Camp Grounds. My dad found a nest of baby rattle snakes where we parked the motor home. My mom let me out to ride my tricycle. I was a curious little girl and wanted to check the weird moving things out. As a result, I was bit on both legs and was taken to the nurse on the camp grounds. My dad prayed for me. They watched me for a while. The bites were getting bigger and bigger. Then it suddenly stopped and started getting smaller and smaller. The nurse sent me home with a sugar free sucker. It was a miracle I lived. If the poison would have gotten just a little worse, I would’ve been dead.
