After the Rain is a hard rock band out of Decatur, AL that brings with them the message of last chances and redemption, even when all seems lost. Their music is a driving blend of 80's rock with a modern alternative rock edge, and their lyrics are written with an honest perspective on faith and how to find God in every circumstance, no matter how bleak. After the Rain’s sound is defined by front-man Mike Patton's honest lyrics and powerful vocals along with lead guitarist Jake Standridge and his gritty power solos reminiscent of 80’s metal. Backed by the agressive forceful grooves of Rounder the drummer and the soulful melodic orchestrations of bassist Rob Gamble, After the Rain is a force to be reckoned with among rock bands. . The members of After the Rain want people to know that being a Christian is about relationship, and God is eager to answer our questions, even the tough ones, if we will only be brave enough to ask. ATR is at the top of their game as a christian rock ministry poised to take it's place at the apex of the christian alternative rock market!
