Formed in August of 2005 by Justin Reynolds and Chad McIlvenna, Leaving Araby has developed a reputation for giving everything they've got in their music and live shows. After a summer full of change (Chad McIlvenna departed in August of 2007 while Derek Amos switched from bass to guitar and bassist Nate Haddon joined the ranks) Leaving Araby is preparing for a full on assault on the music world, gearing up with a brand new set and a style that frontman Justin Reynolds describes as "the best musical headspace we've ever been in." Leaving Araby has shared the stage with bands including Kids in the Way, Fireflight, Wavorly, High Flight Society, The Less, and Love Takes Flight and has been featured on stations and podcasts including Radio U, Effect Radio and the Bored-Again Christain Podcast as well as being featured in CCM's October 2007 edition of "Artful Independence."
