"Redemption comes when damage is dismissed"
Band Website: www.laciet.com
In todays society, our minds are often consumed by what will give us temporary happiness. We are convinced that this happiness is what life is about when in reality, it doesnt even begin to touch base on authentic happiness. For too long our minds have been molded into what we think they should be. It is time for a generation to rise up without hesitation and declare the truth.
Searching for satisfaction is normal. Because I am a 17-year-old, Ive searched, and Ive learned that so many things are overrated and not worth living for. God is the only one eternally satisfying and the only one worth living for. I often find myself praying for God to completely take control of everything in my life. Music has been no exception. At the age of eight, I began my musical journey by taking vocal lessons, and the journey hasnt stopped since. I began to pick up guitar and write songs my freshman year of high school, and just being able to express my love for God and relate my struggles in life to others through writing has been a gift that I will never take for granted. It has been amazing to look over the years that I have been singing and to see how much I have grown musically and spiritually.
Something that God has birthed inside of me is a compassion for the lost. So many times my heart cries for others to totally abandon their own lives. My desire is to teach that through my music and through my life. The underlying message of my songs is that we are so often convinced that it is okay to live a normal life when were actually called to live a life that is far from normal. When we start living a life that isnt normal, the enemy will try to cause us to stumble, but we must learn to get back up again. Even as I start to move forward in my music career, there are tests thrown my way, and these tests of my faith help me grow stronger.
As a Christian teenager, I try my hardest to surrender control to my Saviour. Although I am young, I realize that God wants every area of my life, including my music. My prayer is that people will be inspired to die to themselves and live the life they are called to live.

Those who are passionate about the calling that God has placed in their lives and who live to tell this generation of a living God that sent His only son to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Is there really anything else worth living for?
