I am a new mommy to a beautiful baby boy! Despite the fact that I am a single mom, this past yr has been the most amazing yr of my life!!! I was raised in a fairly strict Baptist family, & so when I got pregnant out of wedlock I was terrified to tell my family. But, they were 100% supportive. We have never been more close than we are @ this moment. I work full time, as well as try to juggle my hobbies & running my son back & forth to my parents' house so that they can watch him for me while I work. Although I'm soooo busy & kinda gettin' stressed out, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
God is so faithful!!!! He has shown me that, regardless of whatever poor decisions I make, "He will never leave me nor forsake me," Deut. 31:6. He is forever the God of second, third, fourth chances.

I was raised in a Baptist family. Unfortunately, I made a few mistakes in my high school yrs that got me to where I am today. I was engaged to a guy after knowing him for only 6 months. Our relationship was not pure &, needless to say, we had a son together. I found out I was pregnant AFTER I broke off our engagement. We are friends again after having not spoken for about a yr & 1/2. We went thru a nasty court battle over our son. But, in the end, I won!
When I got pregnant I was on the worship team at the church that I grew up in. Unfortunately, the majority of the people there did not show theur Christian love towards me or my family when they found out that I got pregnant out of wedlock. So, we left the church after having gone & served there faithfully for over 12 yrs. My family has found a new church; however, I am slowly trying to get back into going. As this is no excuse for not going, my experience @ our old church has made me EXTREMELY bitter towards Christians in general. I feel as if we are complete hypocrits. And, unfortunately, the majority of the world sees us that way. I want to find a church where they minister to everyone, all walks of life, not just the "Christians".
I would like to get back into some kind of ministry work so that I can share with others the love that the Lord has shown me despite my rediculously idiotic mistakes.
