My name is Joshua Inman. I live in Plano, TX and am currently working for Women Of Faith Christian conferences . I love listening to music, watching movies, reading and I enjoy doing things socially. My favorite movie and book are Corrie ten Boom's "The Hiding Place." I was so excited to get to visit Holland early last year to see Corrie's house and the house used in the film! It was a dream come true for me. My favorite singers are Lisa Daggs-Charette, Moya Brennan, Rita Springer, 2nd Chapter Of Acts, Michelle Tumes, Clannad, & Jeremy Camp. I was born and raised in Port Orchard, WA in a Christian home. There are five of us kids and my twin brother and I are the oldest. I accepted the Lord at an early age. For me spiritual things have always come easy. Growing up in the Vineyard, I was given a healthy love for worship! Following my graduation from high school, I went to the Philippines as a missionary with Youth With A Mission where I served for four and a half years. When I came back to the states, I was burn out and tired of trying to be the "Good Boy" that I though every one expected me to be. My struggle with homosexuality did not help the situation at all. Have any of you ever watched the movie "Saved?" I felt like the main girl. I felt a rug was ripped out from under me and I was left wondering what was real. I moved to California and entered a live in program for those struggling with unwanted same sex attractions. I was there for three years before I moved up to Sacramento where I am now helping to co-lead a small group for young men who also struggle. I am in no way perfect or totally restored but I am learning that whatever we struggle with, it is a process that the Lord is bringing us through! He is so good to me even when I am not good to him.
