I'm a novelist who writes what I like to read--suspense, romance (pure), humor, and pathos seasoned with life-changing faith. My writer’s journey has taken me in many different directions. I’ve worn the hats of journalist, columnist, essayist, poet, short story teller and book reviewer. My current chapeau of novelist is the one I’ve coveted all along. My Guide and Mentor in all my travels is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory!

On a more personal note, my first and only marriage is still going strong after 25 years. We have four kids who’ve flown the coop. Yet the chickadees keep coming back to roost from time to time. Puzzling phenomenon. We must not give them enough incentive to stay away.

Received Jesus as Lord and Savior at Bible camp while a pre-teen. Hung in there for a while, and then wandered away. Went running back to him in my early 20s. He was right where I left Him and welcomed me back to fellowship. Many ups and downs, ins and outs later, we're still strong and tight. Recently, He brought my life-long dream to fruition by orchestrating the publication of my first novel, a fast-paced, faith-based romantic suspense entitled Reluctant Burglar. Reluctant Runaway, the second book in the series, came out in March 2007. Number three, Reluctant Smuggler, released in January 2008. I have two books scheduled to come out in 2009--Evidence of Murder (February) and Witness to Murder (June). To God be the glory!
