Originally from Michigan, I moved to Tennessee 4 years ago to fulfill God's call on my life in music. God has really opened some doors for me here in the music industry. I worked as a drafter at a live audio company doing drawings for the installation of sound systems in churches and other venues across the country. At night and on weekends, I did live sound around town here in Nashville for various artists/events. Now I am self-employed doing live sound, video, lighting and live production in and around the Nashville area. It's an amazing experience and I can't wait to see what the future holds for me here. I just know that if God is behind it, nothing will stand against it. More important to me than my career here is the deepening of my faith through all the struggles I've had since I've been here. God has never let me down. I also have and amazing family here at church who always encourage me and are there for me when I need someone. I'm never alone.

I got saved at the age of ten when I responded to an alter call at a bible club rally. I tried to walk the walk for a few years through the rest of elementary school and junior high, but in high school and college, I drifted away from God. I didn't drink, smoke, or do drugs and I didn't sleep around like people seem to say when they talk about getting away from God. But I was very angry and disillusioned. Some things happened to me during those years that caused me to think that God didn't value me and I hated Him for it. I also blamed myself for the death of my little brother and I was still angry and bitter at God for taking him. In February of 2000, I bought my first house in a small town where I didn't know anybody and I decided it might be a "nice way to meet people" if I went back to church again. So I began visiting churches in the area when it was convenient. I still wasn't very committed to it yet, but I wanted to find some new friends to hang with and besides, going to church seemed like a good idea again. Then on New Years Eve of 2000, my parents were in a bad car wreck that should have killed them both. God used that accident to turn my life upside down and inside out in the blink of an eye. I was reminded of how short life really is and I realized that I wasn't right with God. He also used that accident to show me that I wasn't really heading in the direction that He wanted me to go in my career. I wasn't sinning, but I began to realize that what I was doing wasn't what I was cut out for. The problem was that I didn't know what God had created me to do and I knew I wasn't the person He created me to be. God showed me the contents of my heart and I hated who I had become, but I didn't know how to change it. I didn't think I had the power or the ability to change and I didn't think it was possible to change. Then through the testimony of a country artist, I found the hope that it was possible for me to change and that I did have the power to do so through God. I also began to question God as to why He created me and what He created me for. As I began seeking Him on my calling, He began flooding my mind with visions I had had as a child of live productions with Christian messages. I knew that was what I had always wanted to do, but I didn't have the guts to try. Little did I know that the dream I had that I couldn't seem to get rid of or forget was the very thing that God wanted me to do. But I had no idea how to get it started. So I asked Him to show me and He lead me to a school in Nashville where I got my education in audio. I've worked for television shows, concerts, music showcases, wedding receptions, corporate seminars, and a host of other events here in Nashville. Most of my education was in the studio. I recorded a demo CD for a friend of mine there while I was a student. But most of my work has been live audio, video and lighting. I'm believing God that He will use me in the entertainment industry to bring Him back into an industry that seems to be shoving Him out right now. I believe that God wants to use me in huge ways to make a powerful impact for Him in this dark business and I am excited beyond words at my calling not only in this country, but around the world. There's a lot more detail to my story, but that's the highlights of it.
