I am a husband, a father of 3 girls, and a hunk of clay that keeps trying to harden up before I have been completely molded into a usable shape. Fortunately, I am one of God's own (His own) whom He continues to pour out His grace and mercy because of who He is and not because of anything I have done.
In the meantime, I am a student at Liberty University in their counseling program working towards becoming a Christian Counselor and speaker. This calling will hopefully replace my career in telecommunications for the past 15 years.

I came to Christ in my very late twenties. I always considered myself an intellectual and though did not deny the existence of God, or at least of a higher intelligence, but in hindsight, see that I really have just blindly followed the secular humanistic worldview indoctrination from the popular opinion. I did not do my own research and try to find the answers for myself. I did not ever think there was a need. After all, I was following along with the intellectuals, who followed other intellectuals. So I was in good company. But after coming to the call of Jesus in my life, I took Him up on His word for what He named as the greatest of all commandment: Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, your soul, your strength, and your MIND.
Following the evidence, reading books, looking at the science behind what I thought I felt and seen how it was as much about religion as anything else. I know I have found the Truth.
I have spent the last nine years in study and research, renewing my mind, as God has been changing my life from the inside out. I am a work far from being completed, and certainly can't take any personal credit. If left to my own devices and strength, I will not show love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. But I am trying to grow in Christ Jesus and become mature as I become more like Him because of Him, because He makes that possible through the work He is doing within me.
