Ryan Taylor was the lead singer and guitarist of the christian rock band, Halfway, for 8 years. After releasing 3 albums the band decided to go their seperate ways in life. Ryan put his music on hold for a few years, while becoming a Youth Pastor, graduating college, getting married, leading worship, starting a video production company, and making films.
He was raised traveling the country with his family in the southern gospel group, The Hamptons. So music was in his blood and ministry was a huge priority in his life.
In 2007, Ryan, at the age of 27, began writing music again. He got the itch and the urge to pursue his first love of making music. With a new style and a much different sound this go-around, Ryan continues producing, writing, and recording his upcoming album,"Don't Kill The Messenger", slated to independently release June 17th 2008.
