Each and everyday I try to become more like Jesus Christ. I am a diamond still in the rough. But as each day passes I get polished more and more until that day I enter the Kingdom of Heaven as a beautiful diamond ready for my Heavenly Father. There is no doubt that God is the center of my life. For many years I put God on the back burner and went about life doing my own thing. We'll you can guess how my life turned out. In 1998 while I was doing a mixture of different drugs and alcohol, I died and had an out of body experience. But even then I still continued to use on a daily basis. It wasn't until June 25th 2006 that my life took a turn for the better. I decided to give my WHOLE life to Jesus Christ not just part of me. And since then life has become a daily transformation. Sure life still at times wants to drag me back to the old ways, but when I turn it over to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ I know that the outcome will be better. Ever since I was a little child my grandmother told me that I wanted to be a Minister of God. But that never happened. I went down the wrong road of life and was addicted to drugs and alcohol. I tried to stop and even went through treatment but it didn't help at all. It wasn't until I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour did I become free of drugs and alcohol.. And the best part of it is that I don't even have a craving for them any longer. There is no doubt that Jesus is the way. Now my life revolves around God. I have an on the street ministry and find great joy in helping others overcome these terrrible addictions. John 14:6 says it all.
