In his new book,
Glory Revealed, author David Nasser tackles the topic of creating a real life relationship with a God who cannot be seen. “This book is about learning to see and to hear God in our everyday lives,” Nasser writes in the introduction. “God is not silent; we just have to learn how to listen. He is not absent; we just have to know where to look.”
Each of the book’s 20 stand-alone chapters reveals how God’s glory is woven into daily life: via conversation, deliverance, power, experience, suffering, fear, declaration and exclusivity. Nasser’s take on many of life’s challenges, sorrows and joys portray a God actively engaged with the world and—despite our often contrary feelings—a God engaged with every person.

In addition to his new book, Nasser has co-written and served as executive producer for a companion worship CD, Glory Revealed: The Word of God in Worship (Provident Distribution). Nasser, along with Third Day lead singer Mac Powell, wanted to create an album steeped in Scripture with a sing-able sound. Glory Revealed features some of the biggest names in Christian music, including Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, former Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell, and David Crowder. The disk also features some new names in the Christian music scene such as Shane & Shane, Josh Bates, Starfield’s Tim Neufeld, and Candi Pearson-Shelton.
