Freedom from the binding responsibilities of being on a major record label has been like a breath of fresh air for Frank Caldwell. With the successful launching of his own independent company; Jaznia Music Group (JMG), Frank has released three well received projects that transcend the modern music world. These three albums – Confirmation (2000), Bring ‘em Home (2003) and Oh Holy Night (2004) have received national attention and are poised to maintain their strong listener base for a long time to come. Frank’s music has been described by critics and fans alike as ‘captivating’, ‘compelling’ and ‘clever’. His music is a reflection of a passionate approach to song writing, singing and performing. Writing songs since his teen years, Frank began public performances of his work along with frequent collaborations with local and national music industry leaders. Frank’s talents are sought after on the national level as a performer, producer, consultant and advisor. Franks performance and writing credits include original compositions performed by the Columbus (Ohio) Symphony Orchestra, performance and composition credits with Arthur ‘Buster’ Gray’s High Praise Company, performance and composition credits for Joselyn Spencer as well as Darin Allen One of his compositions, Power From God, landed on Billboard Charts at 33. Frank has also been a key consultant and advisor to the Praxis Healthcare Consulting firm, developing methodologies for bringing appropriate gospel music and ministry to hospitals and nursing homes throughout the Midwest and Southern United States. In response to the war in Iraq, Frank developed the song Bring ‘em Home to address the emotions that families go through when finding their loved ones have been deployed to the warfront. The song vividly captures the fear, uncertainty and horror that the call of duty can entail and speaks specifically, in a non political tone, the need to return service men and women home where they belong. Published in 2003, the song continues to find a great fan base among listeners which prompted the United States Military to invite Frank to perform on a USO Tour at military bases throughout Europe. Also active on the Internet, Frank’s music has been awarded critical acclaim as well. The popular music listening site www.soundclick.com hosted a 2007 seasonal holiday cover song competition with 1400 registered entries. Franks holiday single ‘O Holy Night’, won the contest as the single was one of the top 20 selected competition winners.
