Nearly a decade of songwriting experience, 7 mixtapes, 1 album, and various features across the nation are included in DIIcypulz's resume. It wasn't until the now 25 yr. old, Ohio natives, graduated college that they were able to reunite and write/produce, Mission.Movement.Music., their widely successful debut album. Quickly DIIcypulz (pronounced: disciples) fanbase grew across the Midwest. Fueled by the contagious singles, "Go Head! (Praise Him) & "Let's Kick It"; along with the introspective worship of "If You Need Him" the cd quickly garnered the approval of youth & adults alike.
"The first cd was basically us seeking to find our place in his will," the two say. "We were new to ministry but passionate about getting the message out." It is this passion that has become synonymous with DIIcypulz's live shows. Over pounding instrumentals and added instrumentation by live musicians, DIIcypulz clearly execute each lyric with precision and urgency to their listeners.
January 2007, they received the Lord's call to expand their ministry to new regions, and in April moved to Atlanta, GA. Now hard at work on the blueprint tracks to their sophomore project, DIIcypulz have a clear understanding of their purpose in the music industry. "We praise and worship," the two say smiling. "Many times in hip hop it's difficult to do this, but it's who we are so its what our music does by nature." The two stress their growth in ministry from the first album, assuring fans that the new project will be groundbreaking in their new chapter. With an undying love for Jesus, a true appreciation for music, and keen spirtual/social awareness, DIIcypulz aim to take their message to new heights and lift up the King.
