I'm one in the growing ranks of Unfinished Men. I love Jesus above all and am looking forward to seeing Him at the end of my journey here. I love music; I play guitar, sing and occasionally write a song. I work hard for my family and I enjoy it, even though I'm often tired. I like to work out, I love to read, and I love watching a good movie with my beautiful wife Karen. I have six children and I'm proud of them all. Sometimes it's intimidating to be a dad, but I can always count on God to come through when I don't have the answers. I miss Isaac...

I received Christ in the 5th grade. When my oldest son, Isaac, died in a car wreck September 2006, it was a turning point in my relationship with God. After the accident I was overwhelmed by sadness and at the same time, a deep abiding assurance of God's presence. Tears and joy at the same time...how can it be? I finally understood the depth of God's love for me. Now I know his love on a moment by moment basis. Before, my relationship with God was one based on duty and obligation. Now it's based on an ever deepening relationship with One who loves me unconditionally. I love Him so much.
