I grew up going to church with my grandmother, but never really knew God until an auto accident in 1979 woke me up to the fact that eternity was out there, and I wasn't ready to meet God face to face. The first people on the scene of the accident were Christians, and we saw Christianity in action as they rode to the hospital with us and their church brought in food after we got out of the hospital. I accepted Christ about three months later and my husband did the same about six months later.
